Stack Pack
This is our proven efficient mainsail handling system for cruisers and racers. It is designed for quick and efficient stowing when racing and easy deployment when cruising. The stack pack is secured on the boom either by the foot of the sail, or in the case of loose footed sails, by a bolt rope in the bag. This eliminates the need for fastenings on the boom itself. Lazy-jacks descending from the mast are attached to three points each side of the bag. The stack pack has an external front cover to protect the luff end of the sail once the bag is in the closed position.
The racing option comprises carbine hooks on the lazy jacks for quick release and two internal straps and buckles per side to fold the bag neatly along the boom. The lazy jacks are then made off on the mast. Once again, each system is custom made to suit the individual boat.
